Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the FTDC Family Hub and FTDC Member's Guild apps operated by Flamethrowers & Dreamcatchers Ltd ("FTDC", "we", "us"). By creating an account or booking, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

Accounts are for parents and carers aged 18 or over. You are responsible for the information you provide about yourself and your child, and for keeping your sign-in details secure.

Bookings and payments

• Club, camp and event places are confirmed once payment is received via Stripe.
• Prices, term dates and capacity are shown at the point of booking and may be updated for future terms.
• Early-bird discounts apply only within the published window.

Cancellations and refunds

Term bookings and instalments

A term booking reserves your child's place for all the sessions included in that booking. Paying by instalments spreads the cost of the term; it does not turn the booking into a monthly subscription.

If you cancel

Please email play@ftdc.club as soon as possible.

We will calculate any refund or remaining amount fairly, taking account of:

• sessions already provided;
• costs reasonably incurred specifically for the booking;
• any direct net loss caused by the cancellation; and
• any amount we can reasonably recover by offering the place to another family.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce our loss and will not recover the same loss twice. If another family takes the place, we will take that into account.

Depending on when you cancel and whether the place can be filled, some or all of the outstanding term balance may remain payable, but this is not automatic. We will explain how any amount has been calculated.

For an instalment arrangement, we will collect only the amount fairly due under this calculation. We will cancel instalments that are no longer required and refund any amount already paid above the amount due.

Sessions missed by your child

We do not normally provide refunds or credits when a session runs as booked but your child cannot attend. If a serious illness, injury or exceptional circumstance prevents an extended period of attendance, please contact us so that we can consider the circumstances.

If FTDC cancels

If FTDC cancels an individual session, we will offer a replacement session where reasonably possible. If we cannot do so, we will provide an appropriate credit or pro-rata refund.

If FTDC cancels the remaining programme, we will refund any amount paid for sessions that will not be provided and cancel any future instalments relating to those sessions.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

Safeguarding and conduct

FTDC sessions are run by trained staff. Parents and carers agree to share accurate medical, dietary and safeguarding information so we can look after your child. We may refuse or end participation where behaviour puts other children or staff at risk.

Acceptable use of the apps

Do not attempt to access other people's accounts, disrupt the service, or submit information you are not authorised to share.

Intellectual property

FTDC worlds, stories, characters, artwork and branded materials are owned by Flamethrowers & Dreamcatchers Ltd. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.

Liability

We take reasonable care to deliver sessions safely and to keep the apps running, but we do not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the app.
